Mel Kiper's Post-Combine Big Board

1. Reggie Bush Jr. RB USC

Arm strength has improved since 2004.

Rushes the quarterback extremely well.

4. D'Brickashaw Ferguson Sr. OT Virginia
Best offensive line prospect in the senior class.

5. Vince Young Jr. QB Texas
Moved into top three after Rose Bowl performance.

6. Michael Huff Sr. DB Texas
Athletic, instinctive and has versatility for next level.

7. A.J. Hawk Sr. LB Ohio St.
Best senior prospect on defense.

Shutdown corner who cuts the field in half.

13. Laurence Maroney Jr. RB Minnesota
Patient but explosive runner.

14. Ernie Sims Jr. LB Florida St.
Very disruptive in the backfield.

Has all the tools NFL looks for in a QB.

Smart player with great physical skills.

21. Ashton Youboty Jr. CB Ohio St.
Good cover corner.

I'd put Chad Jackson ahead of Ashton Youboty, Winsonte Justice, Wimbley, Holmes and Sims. My Opinion.

Re: Mel Kiper's Post-Combine Big Board

If Michael Huff and Davis are gone, i think we have to go with jimmy williams based on value and need. Yeh, i know he said he only wanted to play corner, but i'm sure any NFL team can force him to play safety if they wanted him too. And if safety doesn't work he might even turn into the top flight corner we don't have.

Someone on another board said that "He screamed that he wanted to play safety in the NFL". So which one is it? Corner or Safety did he say?

According to Williams himself on Sirius NFL Radio, he wants to play corner.

Re: Mel Kiper's Post-Combine Big Board

If Kiper is right, Bunkley and Sims could be first round possibilities for the Rams.

Re: Mel Kiper's Post-Combine Big Board

Vernon Davis will be gone, I think our answer at TE would be Pope, but it is a bit of a reach at #11, plus we need defense. I say we get the kid out of NO who got the low tender.
