Michael Irvin on Justin Blackmon (Interview with OK St)

Now as much as some people dont like Irvin for his off-field antics, or do like because he was a great player on the field, or how much they don't/do like him being an anylist, i think we can all agree on at least that he is always honest and expresses his opinions to the fullest. If hes didnt think Blackmon was going to be great and a stud he'd say something like " he is going to have a very good career in the NFL", he wouldnt say that he is the best WR in the draft or could become one of the best recievers ever (a stretch yes) if he didn't believe it himself.

I am with you THolt, all this last week ive just been going insane and grown sick of everything involving the draft. I am tired of all the rumors and draft expert mock drafts and blah blah.

I am staying up till after 3 a.m. tomorrow and friday to see who we take in the the first 2 rounds.

I just want this draft over with. I wish i could of somehow disconnected myself from all things football the last few days and till the draft but thats almost impossible.

The draft cant come soon enough. Please draft Blackmon!!!! I've said it once and i'll say it again, i am going to be the saddest man alive if we dont draft Blackmon if he is available. I will also be the saddest man alive if the Browns take him.

I think Irvin makes a great point about Blackmon, and it's one of the things I like about him so much as a prospect. He may not be the biggest guy out there, and he may not be the fastest guy out there, but when you put all of his attributes together, you get one of the best guys out there because he does so many things well.
