I've noticed that also. Oher is slipping. We need to really be hoping that Andre Smith declares...

Laurinaitis is also slipping fast. I mean, who is Larry English?
I've also seen Oher slipping in other places. I wonder what that means for us.

"Slipping" according to maycock or any other expert has the following bearing on us "NONE" Our draft choices will be determined by the evaluations of the Rams personnel experts, not by a canvassing of fans or other alleged experts.

Interesting that Oher seems to be slipping down draft boards. I have seen some mocks at some pretty reputable mock draft sites that have Oher going in the first 5 picks of the first round.

Its also looking like a nice class of Safeties as well..
William Moore, Missouri
Taylor Mays, USC (JR)
Rashad Johnson, Alabama
Louis Delmas, Western Michigan
If we can get one of these guys in the 2nd/3rd to line up beside Atogwe our DB situation won't be half bad. Bartell has shown he's capable to be a starter, Brown is probably on the backside of his career but out of Hill, Wade and King somebody must emerge as a starter..

Mayock isn't exactly an "expert" in my eyes looking at some of his previous lists from other years.

Speaking of safeties, that Mays kid is a real player. I spend a lot of time in the Houston area and I know that the Texans are in love with him. I don't know how high they are willing to reach for him, but if they miss on him, safety is a big enough issue for them that they also will look hard at William Moore.

This seems to be a good draft for OT's , LB's and S's .. and we are in store for good one's . maybe picking second again has given us a chance to get a real foundation started since DEVANEYhas been here.the last 3 years i have liked our draft , well most of it anyway. I see BILLYD , as solidifying our drafts and personel quickly.
and as for a new coach i've got butterflies already.

Re: Mike Mayock's Top 20 Senior Prospects for the 2009 NFL Draft
It's been the consensus around here that a lot of Primetime analysts, including Mayock and McShay, go out of their way to be different from draftniks like Scott Wright.
That's why you see sort of 'ot-of-left-field' things like no QBs/WRs/RBs, Cushing ahead of Laurinitis, or even the wide gap between Curry and Maualuga.
