Re: Mission Accomplished... Almost

I was expecting them to pick up a QB in the late rounds, but that did not happen. I wonder what they plan to do about that.

Re: Mission Accomplished... Almost

Next year... Hunter Cantwell. I know you've probably never heard of him but he has been backing up Brian Brohm for the last three years. He will go from a "never heard of" to a "can't live without" prospect this next season. He is not as tough as nails... he is tougher. Oh and he can also play qb pretty well. Call me crazy but I just wanted to get this in writing in case it happens.

Well, well....draft pick predictions for 2009 have started. That's kinda early.

Wait until they have a coach who they know will be around for a couple of years. I'm not surprised they chose not to get a young QB (especially in a relatively weak QB draft) when the coaching staff whose system the QB fits might be "seeking other opportunities" after this season.

Good point. I hope Bulger can deal with him this year. Maybe having Al here will make it easier on the offense.

I would add another DE to the mix. Little is getting up in age and Hall is a depth guy.

Another DT. too. Wroten, who knows and Glover is 34.

Still a lot of work to do, but what a great start for Devaney and company.

I think the Rams had a great draft and met all their needs this year. I see us going for a QB next year with our 2nd or 3rd pick.

Adarian, you may be right. There are alot off players that have to wait in the shadow of the starters. If he is all that you say he is, he may be worth keeping an eye on.

You are right about the shadows. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Rodgers have his try at the Packers... but who or what is Adarian?
