Marques Colston. IMO he is the best WR available this offseason. He runs more of the route tree than Vincent Jackson and they are about the same size. His knee issues worry me but he has been able to stay healthy and it doesn't look like he has lost any speed.

Why would the saints let him go? Drew Brees is a FA after the season and he isn't going anywhere. He either is going to get franchised tagged or get one of the most lucrative contracts in NFL history. Either way it would be hard to give him Sideny Rice Money or more. Saints also have other key free agents like Carl nicks who is one of the best guards if not the best guard in the league. I doubt the saints will give him the top dollar he deserves when they already have Jahri Evans the highest paid guard in the league, but you never know. Tracey Porter and Robert Meachum are also FA's who if not resigned the rams would be interested in.

One huge stepping stone is the Rams lack of cap space this year. There definitely will be alot of personel change, but cutting guys like Jason Smith and Jason Brown will definitely leave some dead money. Demoff has been a pretty good cap guy so maybe he will give us some flexibility. Getting Colston and maybe Kalil would put a huge smile on sams face.

Bartell is signed for 2012 and has a cap hit of $8.2 million. He may be gone or forced to rework the contract.


Long is signed through 2013.
