Mr. Optimistic's Favorites
Drake Nevis DT
-EXPLOSIVE first step, typical Spags rotational player, extremely underrated, put on weight and showed up at the combine at 292lbs. I do not understand why he is flying under the radar.
Leonard Hankerson WR
-Offensive MVP of the senior bowl with 100yrds. Super hard worker, very crafty route runner is always open, needs to work on his hands
Robert Sands FS/SS/CB
-Big and tall at 6-5, flies all over the field making big hits, not much of a ball hawk but does a great job disloging balls, has played CB and looks to me like a SS. Has met with the Rams during the combine. Could fill a couple needs for the Rams.
Aaron Williams CB/FS
-Mayock touted him as "the 3rd best CB or the #1 FS" If that is true, the Rams need to give him some serious consideration if he falls to the 2nd, but i doubt he will.
Mason Foster OLB
-Huge stats, great team player, I wouldnt say he is necessarily 2nd round worthy, but would be a great pick up in the early 3rd. Has played SAM, MIKE, & WILL
Martez Wilson LB
-Im no expert, but it seems to me that Wilson is athletic enough to play SAM as there is plenty of footage of him playing in coverage and blitzing. He a big guy and is really fun to watch. Why he is said to be an inside 3-4 lb i do not know. I'd draft him in the second.
Re: Mr. Optimistic's Favorites
Love it! I feel basically the same about all these players especially Sands, Foster and Williams.
