I would prefer a LB earlier, and a TE on the first day

just because we need massive help at those two positions

I could live with that. Day's probably gone before the 5th, and Alston would have to find a position.....but having said all that, I like this mock.

First day is okay. I don't think Bunkley is going to be starting next to Glover but rather spelling him and eventually taking over in 2-3 years. If that's what we want, I'm fine with it, but I hope we don't take him with the expectation of starting him next to La'Roi. I'm not too sure how that'd work out.

Bullocks in the second is great. Not sure an undersized Tampa 2 LB like Alston fits what we need at outside linebacker. I like rounds four through six. Very nice job. Not a huge Threat fan, but I do like Dale Robinson.

Overall, pretty good mock with some choices you don't see in a lot of other mocks. Nice job mixing it up.

manu. and roland williams were 4th rounders and they suck.... did we draft a TE last year?

Novachek, Brent Jones, Sharpe, Coates, Chmura, Wychek, Eric Johnson, McMichael, & Putzier were all 2nd day picks, most of them in the 6th and 7th round. Not to mention, Gates was a UFA.

Quality TE's can be had late in the draft and if Day is there on day 2, we should go after him. He's a solid receiver, soft hands, excellent route runner, and could contribute early.
