My First Ever QB Rankings (maybe last) Felt the need to !!!

Guys, as you know I love watching WRs because I think they are usually some of the best athletes on the field. Many WRs could play baseball, soccer, basketball, or track and field.

I think that this year I needed to rank my QBs because I have found one opinion I strongly disagree with:

TEDDY BRIDGEWATER IS NOT THE #1 DRAFT PICK.

I think today the QB role is more athletic and dynamic. I rank the QBs as follows at this time.

    #1a Marcus Mariota
    #1b Brett Hundley
    #2 Teddy Bridgewater
    #3 Zach Mettenberger
    #4 Aaron Murray
    #5 Johnny Manzeil

    Just missed Derek Carr

The point is I really don't agree with Bridgewater going #1 -- The West Coast style of dink and dump isn't optimal -- and Mariota and Hundley can both throw the ball.

I am leaning Hundley as the best talent, but it all depends you actually ends up at #1.

If the Texans are there, I could see them leaning Bridgewater because of there pro-style run based, vanilla scheme...but I think that would also me a mistake, and that is why they are losing game after game.

I would love to have some "Non-Biased" comments on the top 3 Qbs.

Finally, I think Bridgewater is ok arm, average at everything else and he is accurate but many system plays inflated him.....

What do you guys say ?

I don't think Bridgewater is a #1, but i hope everyone else in the world thinks he is.

I like Mariota better and have for a long while.

Hundley is good, but not completely sold on him yet.

I think you should do a list of your top QB's the Rams should take a good look at throughout the draft.

    Good list.

How late do you think Murray will go with his torn ACL now? if we can get him in the later rounds, i think that'd be a good choice.

Murrays height is the issue, and he will never be mobile.......I am sure there will be some sleepers moving up

Question for you mate, where do you have McCarron? He is a winner and controls games well, also looks to be up for the Heisman. I think he will be higher in the draft than many predict, and it is cool you have Hundley so high enjoyed him the last two seasons alot! Not the same this year without Joe Fauria to throw TD's too though, also think he misses Jon Franklin a ton. We talk all the time about who you put around a guy and how he looks without his best options on the field. Will be fun to follow him on the NFL team that drafts the young man.

I think Bridgewater is number 1. He reminds me a little bit of Aaron Rodgers. He is excellent at climbing the pocket, and has terrific accuracy and placement.

Mariota is #2 for me. He's athletic and has HUGE potential. He may struggle a bit in the NFL (at the beginning) but I see him as a guy that will progress big time. He will probably have a little bit of trouble getting used to being under center but he is terrific. He can sling the ball, almost never turns it over, and has the 3rd dimension, mobility. That alone can mask a shoddy offensive line, which is why I believe the "mobile QB" is an advantage. Plus, he allows you to run things out of the pistol, offers the read option, and imagine him having a toy like Tavon Austin? (He currently has De'Anthony Thomas).

After these guys it's a close battle for 3) with Derek Carr and Brett Hundley battling it out.

disagree for both hundley and mariota...might have a hyped up rookie year but then descend back to reality when the nfl figures them out

Could you explain why? The NFL is a mobile league and both these QBs can do both....I think Hundley has legit potential in any NFL system....

Derek Carr is a tougher read...sometimes he looks alot like jake locker.....that makes it tough to like
