    My Mid April Mock

Obviously, when it comes to mocks, the elephant in the room is Geno Smith, and where he might go. If the Jets acquire a second #1 for Revis, that could end the mystery of how far Smith could fall, though some say it's the Eagles at 4. I don't agree.

Barring trades, which surely could happen, here is how i see it possibly going, through the top 15 with my guess on best trade possibilities.

At that point, with this scenario, I just can't make up my mind for what the Rams do, which is why a deal down looks more and more a possibility with this scenario.

    1. K.C. - Luke Joeckel OT - If not him then Eric Fisher
    2. Jax - Eric Fisher OT - If not him then Joeckel
    3. Oakland - S. Floyd DT
    4. Phil - D. Jordan -LB Just don't see QB here, takes his old Oregon star.
    5. Det - Lane Johnson OT Gotta protect Stafford #1
    6. Clev - Dee Milliner -CB
    7. Arizona - J. Cooper -G -Need to give Carson Palmer a pocket.
    8. Buffalo - S. Luteleilei -DL (Top trade possibility here)
    9. NYJ - Ziggy Ansah - DE
    10. Tenn - C. Warmack G
    11. S.D. - S. Richardson DT ( Another trade possibility)
    12. Mia - X. Rhodes CB
    13. T.B. S. Williams -DT (could trde for Revis and Jets take G. Smith)
    14. Carolina - T. Austin WR ( or trade) (They could go S. Williams if Revis deal happens)
    15. N.O. - B. Mingo LB
    16 RAMS - ?????
17 Pitt. - A LB, DT, or WR
    18. Dallas - A safety, TE, OL, DE
    19. NYG - OL, DB, LB
    20. Chi - LB, OL, WR
    21. Cincy - RB, OL, DE (could deal down)
    22. RAMS - ??????

I think they guys who might go from 17 to 21 , if the Rams don't take one are J. Jones, K. Vaccaro, A. Ogletree, DJ Fluker , B. Werner, C. Patterson, T Eiffert. TE T. EIfert could be a possibility to TB if they don't trade the pick.

If th Rams don't want any of that bunch at 16, they could possibly look to trade down to a team that does love one of them, or for a team wanting Smith.

I'd be happy with Fluker and Patterson, maybe even Ogletree

Thanks for sharing this mock, Barry!

An offensive tackle makes sense for Jacksonville if they don't plan on re-signing Eugene Monroe. He says they haven't approached him about a new deal, which seems strange as he's played well for them.

I love the Jordan-to-Philadelphia pick as one that reunites Chip Kelly with a stud he coached in college.

Fifth overall is a bit high for Johnson in my opinion, but I could absolutely see it happening based on the need you cited - Detroit has to protect Stafford.

The Bills will be slowly transitioning to the 3-4 defense under their new coaching staff, and with Mario Williams, Marcell Dareus, and Kyle Williams under contract, I figure they have their linemen already. Do you think they go Geno there? Or, based on your projection, Tampa Bay may want to move up for Ansah.

Based on the way you have the draft going up until the Rams' pick, I would probably take one of the following @ 16: Patterson, Vaccaro, or Fluker.

No Brainer Jones would be the pick... It would be a steal!!!
