Re: My Mid FA Rams Draft

We could probably trade down and get lawson so we could probably add another mid round pick in there somewhere

Re: My Mid FA Rams Draft

Well i think Lawson isnt good enough for 11, but at the moment the only way i see the Rams staying at 11 is if someone falls or someone rises really loads. Jimmy Williams appears the only viable option at 11 now, since Huff and Davis appear to have risen too much, and Greenway has probably fallen

I believe we can also get a better TE in the third then Fasano, i dont rate him at all

Re: My Mid FA Rams Draft

I agree. I think Manny Lawson could be a major asset, but I still consider him a late first rounder. If we want him, we ought to trade down. The risk you run with tweener types is that they could wind up just not being able to go to the next level at either position.

Re: My Mid FA Rams Draft

I don't think Lawson will be considered the best player availble at 11 but I still wouldn't mind if we take him. Too many players in the NFL either turn out much better or much worse than projected. It's not an exact science. I think Lawson or Carpenter would be good picks.

Re: My Mid FA Rams Draft

We won't draft 3 defensive backs in the first four rounds.
