I know Bartell is physically gifted but he struggled in the Senior Bowl. Why not take a CB like Justin Miller or Darrent Williams. Miller also was a great return person. Can blame off field issues if they are going to take Incognito later.

That's the only pick that puzzled me (and for the Rams that is a good ratio).

I think the answer is twofold. First and foremost, the rams liked him better and that is good enough for me. I dont think anyone can conclude that he would have been available a round later, we just dont know that. Second, given his size and speed, it may be that we see this guy as a safety AND a corner, as opposed to a pure corner. That kind of flexibility in the secondary, with the special teams play, makes a big difference for our team.
