Re: My Post Combine Overall Ranking Top 100

    1. Tough year to be at the top of the draft and needing a QB.

    2. Barry, I know that a couple of guys here see Brandon Coleman as a top (if not the top) WR in this draft class. But you list him here as the 12th WR overall. What might the discrepancy be?

Brandon Coleman has the tools, but he has more drops than any receiver in the draft, he lacks explosion.

His ranking here is mainly because of the huge amount of top WR talents this year.

He may be 12th, but actually tied with four or five others for 7th or 8th.

I just prefer the ones I had above him.

Coleman reminds me of Ramses Barden, Giants 3rd rounder in 2009.
You can get some receiver tight ends in this draft who are bigger, and as fast, and more reliable, and can block better.

That's very interesting. I haven't looked too hard at Coleman, but I am curious to hear any rebuttal from the guys here that are big believers in him.

To each his own. I think Coleman has great size, knows how to use it, wins jump balls, is a tough and punishing blocker.. He's going to need to develop his route running/tree at the next level but if he had any sort of semblance of a QB and decent offense in college we'd be talking about a round 1/2 guy.
