During his NFL Combine interview, Alabama LB Demeco Ryans said he feels more comfortable playing outside linebacker because he has played there the most, but has some experience at inside linebacker. He is also capable of playing in both a 3-4 formation and a 4-3 formation.

He measured in at 6'1 1/2" and 236 lbs. At that size, he might be able to play MLB. I think with his speed, he should really consider it. I'll be interested to see what he runs, because he didn't look that quick at the Senior Bowl.

He's a better OLB. At MLB he might be good, but he'll never be the stud that he can be at OLB. I saw that firsthand at Alabama. OLB allows him to flow more freely and blitz more. DeMeco is a guy that despite what he runs, no one is going to flow faster than him on the field.
