NFL.com: Linehan attends Nebraska pro day
From NFL.com's report of all college pro days...
Here are the results from said pro day:Nebraska players worked indoors on FieldTurf. 23 teams were there, with about 60 people total viewing. Rams head coach Scott Linehan was there, as were the running backs coaches from Carolina and Kansas City. It was a very fast track, with players regularly putting up better times than they did at the Combine.
- Brandon Jackson (RB): Jackson (5-9 7/8, 206) ran 4.41 and 4.42 in the 40.
- Adam Carriker (DE): Carriker (6-6, 291) ran 4.73 and 4.72 in the 40.
- Jay Moore (DL): Moore (6-6 ¾, 274) ran 4.74 and 4.76 in the 40.
- Stewart Bradley (LB): Bradley (6-3 ¾, 258) ran 4.76 and 4.75 in the 40.
The site also confirms that offensive special assistant Jeff Horton was at the Boise State pro day on March 5th and that VP/player personnel Tony Softli at the Notre Dame pro day on March 4th,Last edited by Nick; -03-08-2007 at 12:42 AM.

Carriker runs pretty fast for a guy his size, do you think he would be a good first rounder for us?

Re: NFL.com: Linehan attends Nebraska pro day
Funny you should ask. I was listening to (Sirius Satellite Radio) Show called Late Hits. Gil Brandt a supposed draft guru predicted 14 out of the first 15 picks accurately for last years draft. At least that's what he's saying.
Well this year he's been speaking to quite a few Head Coaches and mentioned that he had a conversation with Linehan of the Rams. Brandt says from the conversation with Linehan that the Rams are going DE 1st pick and specifically want Carriker of Nebraska. At least this is what Brandt was able to summize from his conversation with Linehan.
For what it's worth, this is only a prediction by Gil Brandt.
