NFL Draft/ If Brady Quinn Falls To 13th - Grab Him!

With less than two weeks before the 2007 National Football League Draft, there are tough decisions in the Saint Louis Rams' war room. What to do with the 1st round 13th pick in the draft? Should we trade up or down? Do we draft Defensively or is offensive more of a concern?

Here's one, should Brady Quinn ( 6'3", 226 lbs, QB, NORTE DAME) happen to fall in the Rams lap at #13 in the draft, it would be in their best interest to make him their #1 pick.

Some draft experts have Quinn going to the Cleveland Browns with 3rd pick in the draft. Other experts don't have him in the top 10. (We'll see!)

Here is what the draft experts predict the Rams will do with 13th pick in the draft.

how bout no.... quinn will be a bust in the nfl... he has never produced in big games in college... look at the SC games or the bowl games against LSU and Ohio state... i would rather have troy smith in the 4th

Sure, B. Quinn has had bad luck in big games in college, but he did have a good college career under a proven NFL coordinator/collegiate coach in Charlie Weis. Brady is an NFL size QB and would make a nice back up to Marc Bulger. He will grow and only get better in the NFL ranks.

What did Troy Smith do in the big game, again?.....

if that happens it would be a total waste of a pick. we could trade down from there and still get a guy that would help our defense. whats the point of picking a guy who wont play?

we dont need Brady*Chokes in big games*Quinn. we have marc bulger and probably will for another 5 or 6 years.

wasted pick , only way i would is if i already had a deal made with a team to take quinn and give us picks and player . otherwise trade down, someone would want him at #13 , also , i believe with the comp. picks our rounds look like this.

7TH- 225
7s - 248

this makes sense because we are talking with marc bulger to make a contract extension, so if we get bulger signed, you want to draft quinn to be a backup for 3-5 years? no thanks

I don't think BQuinn would want to play back-up for 5 or 6 years.

anyone who would like to draft quinn, i have a question for you. Did you watch any rams games last year? Do we look like we need help at the qb position? conversly, did anything about our defense strike you as dominating, let alone decent?

Just like last year and cutler, qb is the last thing that this team needs. We need MAJOR help on defense. Another qb? Forget it. Return expert and 4th wide receiver? Forget it, its a luxery item.

I have no opinion nor do I care if Brady Quinn pans out in the NFL. But I will feel physically sick for 12 to 36 hours if we draft him before the 5th round, if he falls to there, fine, draft him.

Quinn did put up 24 reps of 225 at the combine, so maybe he can bulk up and play on the defensive line... :)

if quinn is there at 13 how about we take as much time of the clock as we can and see who will give us the best picks for him

Watched all the Rams games last year and was very impressed with the QB position. The Rams definitely look like they are well with their Starting Quarterback, but it never and I mean E V E R hurts to have good backup waiting in the wings, just in case....

Bledsoe had Romo, Plummer had Cutler, Montana had Young, Waterfield had Van Brocklin......... I can see it now, Bulger / Quinn The one two punch, the dynamic duo, Starsky & Hutch.........:)

well if he drops to #13 it looks like he will then drop even further because the Rams will not be selecting Brady Quinn.

Rams picking Quinn in any round but the 5th and beyond is flat out iresponsible. We have a very good chance to be contenders this year if we draft right. Drafting right would be adding quality DEFENSIVE playmakers early and often.
