Nick's "4 Options in 4 Days" Two-Round NFL Mock Draft (Option 2: CB Morris Claiborne)
Monday marks Day Two of my Four Mocks in Four Days challenge to give Rams fans four possible scenarios with four different picks and how those selections may shape up. On Sunday, I presented a two-round mock draft that had the Rams selecting defensive tackle Fletcher Cox in the first round, followed by receiver Stephen Hill and offensive guard Amini Silatolu in round two.
Today, I’m going to present a scenario in which the Rams select LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne in the first round. Let’s see how things fall, and as always, your feedback and comments are appreciated!
Again, due to the number of mocks I’m hoping to pump out, I’m not going to add elaborate explanations to the picks. Feel free to respond with thoughts or comments about specific picks if you’d like more feedback. Thanks!

I'm not sure I see the Browns taking another WR in round 1 after taking Blackmon. Two first round WRs when you have a roster full of holes seems like overkill. I like Claiborne, but can't say I'm pleased as punch with the way the rest of the draft works for the Rams. I guess I'm just not sold on Jeffery yet.

I like this one. Even with the weight issue Jeffery showed a lot of potential in school and I haven't heard that he takes plays off or anything like that. If Fisher can get him to reach his full potential he could be a steal in the 2nd.

Claiborne and Thompson, I'm fine with. Just not diggin' Jeffrey. But I'd live with those two rounds.
Quite the slip for Mercilus."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

I do not see the bucs with lagarrette Blount and in your mock draft taking Richardson also taking Doug Martin in round 2. It makes no sense to have 3 rbs of that quality on your roster.

Nick, I'm sorry to continue the error search, but I just don't see the Bengals selecting Jamarcus Russell in the 2nd round after taking Alf in the first round. It just doesn't make sense with Michael Jordan available. Especially with the Bengals drafting between the Yankees and the Blues.

Man... taking Jeffery would make me very nervous.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Nick's "4 Options in 4 Days" Two-Round NFL Mock Draft (Option 2: CB Morris Claibo
Nick, in this scenario, Reuben Randal and Stephen Hill are available at the Packer's pick, and as is reflected in your mock draft, there are two WR needy teams between the Packer's Pick and our pick (Maybe 3, I think the Pats could look at Hill). However there are no teams I see in that list who seem likely to take Konz. Do you think the Rams would look at a trade up to grab one of the two? The Pack might be willing.
And I'd like to add that if we could do that without using the second 2nd rounder, I'd probably be pretty pleased with the draft.

Re: Nick's "4 Options in 4 Days" Two-Round NFL Mock Draft (Option 2: CB Morris Claibo
2 things i would like to touch on:
First, I do not see why the Rams would take Jeffery over sanu
Second, we are not forced to take a WR in the first 2 rounds...We are not forced to settle if its not there dont get it...I do not see how jeffery can impact this team we need a #1 receiver
Also just because the #1 WR position is not filled doesnt mean we can overlook talent...you got a guy like donta hightower on the board at pick 39 you just cannot let him get past u
