    Again, I understand that some people are infatuated with Clowney. These same people are willing to overlook what appears to be, at best, a questionable work ethic. That is a huge intangible that some people wish to overlook in their anointing of a physical freak. Just like they did with Gholston's own intangible (ability to pick up playbook).

    Hopefully, when it comes time for Fisher and Mozeliak to evaluate Clowney, they will not be as cavalier. But I feel quite certain they won't be.

    They might be similar in size and weight, but Quinn was way more explosive a player coming out of college then Vernon, not too mention more of a cerebral player. For all the physical tools that Gholston had I just don't think he really had the heart to play football. Even after all that some scouts still viewed VG to be a top-20 pick. But if Quinn had not got in trouble at NC and the whole tumor thing had not scared off scouts, he might have been a top 5 pick.
