Re: Nick's Post-Combine Mid-March Two Round NFL Mock Draft

Nick, nice job as always,I have one question for you,you stated that Curry may be the best player in the draft why not take him there and grab the OT with the second pick, from everything I have read this Curry guy seems to be the real deal and could be just what this defense needs.thanks

Great job nick. I would really be thrilled with monroe and laurienitis.

My biggest issue with your mock is the eagles going tight end in round one. I know they lost Smith, but i dont think he was the starter by the end of the year. Didnt they have a tight end who made 11 catches or something in the nfc title game?

I think the guy you're thinking of is Brent Celek. From what I can remember, he really turned it on in the playoffs but before that, was just a back up kind of guy. I don't know if the Eagles coaching staff consider him starting material but it's my guess the Eagles will go TE early in the draft.

Nick, I dig it. It's all logical, the few reaches well explained and most all of the teams have picks that accommodate their various needs. If both Laurinitis and Nicks fall to the Rams in round two, I think there's going to be some intense debate in our War Room for a solid nine and a half minutes.
