Now that the draft is over, here is my prediction
I see Carriker and Long becoming the "bash brothers". They will get to the QB and celebrate with forearm smashing. I see alot of that this season.
I see Greco and Schuening becoming the next "doughtnut brothers". Instead of doughnut, it will be a lot of pasta. They will make a good duo in the near future on the Rams line.
The WR for this season will be:
1. Holt - not going to be cut.
2. Bennett - too expensive to cut.
3. Avery - A 2nd round pick will not be cut, that will be admitting you were stupid to draft him.
4. Burton - I see him make the team and be a surprise pick. Probably handling KO and Punt Returns at first and working into the roster.
5. Stanley - He did good last year on KO return and he got speed.
6. Hagan - It will be a toss up between him and Hall. I just see him make the team because of youth and with Stanley and Burton taking over the duties of Hall.
Not making it
Hall - Unless he absolutely outperform on special team, I see him being a casualty.
Caldwell - Going to be a camp body.
Looker - Wilkins is gone. He is gone.
Everybody else - not going to make a difference.Last edited by onslaught11; -05-01-2008 at 10:11 AM. Reason: Added Looker

Be careful with Caldwell, he might be a little more competitive than we think. I think Hagans has been given enough time to perform, he's probably out. Maybe we could trade Bennett for a linebacker? ....and then again maybe my tears could turn into gasoline so I don't have to pay $4 a gallon! Not very likely!

AHHHHH... I wish we could trade bennett... I would take anything we could get as long as they took some of the cap hit too.

I say give Drew a year and let Avery work that slot. If not, we have next year's FA/Draft to get a guy to replace Drew.

That's funny because when he was healthy, I thought Dante Hall was the best returner we'd had since Az Hakim and Tony Horne.

Agreed about Hall - he's been the only bright spot in the return game for a few years now. I say keep and and see if he can stay healthy - let the other guys learn behind him.

I'd go Hall and Caldwell over Hagans. I would probably give Caldwell the last spot and you forgot to leave out looker
