No, no and no. in no way iis he Damaged Goods. it's hard to imaginne anybody as of pick 2 pass him up- Maybe the saints, who could trade the pick ad have a stud. But look at the Titans, Jets, Pack, Niners and Raiders who, in some way, could all make great use of the Stud. He doesn't fall past NY.

The Texans already have a solid runner in Davis,Why waste the 1st pick of the draft on someone who doesnt fill a position of need.
I like the fact the Texans front office was'nt pressured into something they didnt want to do,Williams does fill a position of need,they have no pass rush and he immediatly improves it plus you dont have all the baggage that Bush brings(The whole house thing and his huge contract demands)

If Bush turns out to be a bust, and Williams is among the sack leaders this season, you're going to look very smart. On then other hand, if Bush turns out to be as good as everyone thinks, unless Williams is the best D-lineman in the game, this was a bad move. As a matter of fact, it could go down in history as one of the biggest draft blunders of all time, Time will tell.Quote:

The more I think about the move, the more it's making sense to me. When Kubiak was in Denver, they were famous for turning nobodies into top backs. I don't know how much of that was him personally, but if he thinks he can run the same system in Houston, he'd probably feel like a top back would be a luxury he didn't need. Even Ron Dayne averages 5+ yards/carry in that system; before he moved to Denver, he averaged 3.5. So, maybe we should be thinking of this along the lines of the Clinton Portis for Champ Bailey trade. That worked out really well for Denver.
My question is if this will affect the Rams pick in any way. I figured Bush would go #1, Williams maybe at #4 or 5. Is this going to screw us up on best D player available at 11?
