Re: when do we get a running back?

I have been saying all offseason that we don't need a running back. We have Jackson, Darby and Pittman.

Look at our crappy line. Steven Jackson is an amazing player who is strong enough to break 1,000 yards behind this line.

Now that we improved our line, I think our back ups should be able to play quite well.

Devaney, if you care about this team... fire the offensive coordinator!!!!

Re: when do we get a running back?

i disagree...our backups are modest at best..
i think adding javon ringer would add a change of pace
kinda back and would make us more stronger at the position..
but if duke robinson or another wr rated higher than duke or ringer is still there we go that direction

Swapped them. We pick around 20th in those 2 rounds now and they pick in our spots.

I'm not sold on "G" J. Bell. "G" D. Robinson would be alot better pick than RB.
Remember get a bigger "G" and you can make a RB look alot better by giving him lanes to run in.

Re: The Official 2009 NFL Draft Discussion Thread

since we have missed out on a wideout thus far, we should look in to Greg carr 6'6" from florida state, or Jasion Williams 6'4" 237 pounds from oregon they should both looked at in rounds 5 and 6
