Re: when do we get a running back?

theres way more pressing needs IMO...instead of a 3rd or 4th place RB how about a 1st place SAM..or someone to Spell AC...maybe someone to add into the TE mix.. a development QB...or someone to groom behind Little at DE..as for WR, maybe worth a flyer on one but i hope we add a vet either from the next wave of cuts or one already a F.A....a trade with one of next years picks shouldnt be ruled out...im fine with us adding a RB to the mix but i hope its later than the 5th...
there are many good prospects still available at more pressing areas of concern.

we were never gonna fill all our holes in this draft but the draft isnt the last chance of adding players so im cool..hope you guys can be too..

Remember get a bigger "G" and you can make a RB look alot better by giving him lanes to run in.

Robinson is a massive guy, who is a great run blocker. Him, Jason Smith, and Jason Brown would make our o-line a dominant run blocking mentality. Not to mention giving us even more size.

    OT Alex Boone anyone?

OT Alex Boone anyone? CB Bradley Fletcher had a DUI arrest and was still picked.
He would be great OT depth for late round pick. Was thought to go in late first round. Could be a great still in draft.

I think OT Meredith is still on the board.
Theres alot of big guards like Robinson and Casillas, Ellerbe, Frantz Joseph and Appleby are still up.

The thing with Fletcher is I'm under the impression that just about everybody who plays for the Hawkeyes ends up with a DUI. Presumably leaving Iowa City will remove some of his desire for Spirits.

Re: The Official 2009 NFL Draft Discussion Thread

he is a division II QB from West Texas A & M where Ryan Leaf is his quarterback coach. from what I've read he is smart, has a live and accurate arm but needs to work on a quicker delivery and lower body mechanics. He is also 6'4" i believe
