I am hoping for a WR in round 2, such as Hankerson- or Baldwin if he's there. IMO it's a promising start for our draft.

NEITHER DO I. But I believe Bradford is a beter QB than Peterson is a CB. Our Defense is gonaa be Awesome with Long, Quinn, Hall, Robbins, etc... hate to be the other teams playing against our beastly pass rush.

I can't believe no one has anything to say about the insane price ATL paid to trade up for Jones.

And what was with the bowtie, Julio ?! If prom style is how you do, shoulda brought a corsage for Goodell.

Guys, I can't explain how pumped I was when we drafted Quinn. He's a true man, it's always nice to see someone shed some tears (for the good) when you draft them. He's come down a long road and this pick is amazing!!

We had plenty to say about in the chatroom. The consensus seemed to be that we all liked Julio, but I'm not sure there was anyone saying we should have tried to trade all the way up to six to get him.

Question for those in the know; with the lockout sort of over can teams sign undrafted free agents right after the draft as per normal?

It sounds as if the U.S. Court of Appeals will be granting a stay of Judge Nelson’s injunction against the lockout, so I wouldn't count on it.

In the 6th? Well at that point, sure, it's worth the risk.

Do you want to spend a 1st round pick on a guy who will destroy offensive tackles for a few games, and then blow out his knee... and by blow out, I mean carry the lower half of his leg off the field separately from the rest of his body.
    I believe!

Re: this might be really short lived... but if bowers is still there?

Basically the story goes, Bowers comes outta no where to get 15.5 sacks this last year as a Junior I think Looks like the best rusher in a very good edge rushing class. Comes out, and then doctors start poking at his knee and it's guessed that he might need microfracture surgery even before the draft. That gets downplayed by the Bowers' camp and the medical re-check in Indy seems to go ok, but the talk keeps going about how at any time he knee might blow out and that Bowers is a "one contract player..." as in, he'll be out of the league before he can sign a second contract.
    I believe!
