Von Miller wouldn't fit as a 4-3 LB.
And our FO needs to select who they think is the best player. Not biggest need. We were the 2nd worst team last year. Pretty much every position needs to be upgraded.

And he plays... DE!
Re: The Official 2012 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
no he doesnt... rofl. look at my location before you want to get into this.
They put him close to the line in certain sets. he never lines up as starting DE. They eithier put him next to Dumervil or he will sub to Ayers side if Ayers comes out. Thats the one time he subs in as DE, and its still in 4-3. Rest of the time he is dropping back in coverage etc.
Broncos havnt used the 3-4 really since 2011.

you know whats funny, all those WRs are still better then the Rams WR core..
You're right they probably are lol, but still would you rather have them or a probowl DT? I'm not saying Brockers will, but you draft who you thinks the better player not just need. I know DT is a boring pick compared to WR, but it doesn't mean they aren't just as important.

And he sucked when he played OLB. He did most of his damage as DE.

I'd rather Randle. He's got more production, played against better competition, and has about the same attributes.

what? there is a reason he is defensive mvp. He SUBBED IN at de maybe 2 out of every 20 plays. They always blitzed him so it looked like he was de to you. Just stop.

calm down guys, we desparately need to improve on both sides of the line of scrimmage.

the thing about this pick is that brockers at 14 seems too high for someone who barely played in college.
Also- brokers is assumed to be more a run stopper than a 3 down tackle.
If we are looking for a meat theres plenty more to be had in rd 2.
Meanwhile we miss out on someone like decastro who helps our qb, rb, and indirectly our wr via pass protection.
Now in rd 2 we could have taken wr, olb, dt.
Tom we need to go wr at 33.
I feel like Brockers was the oh sh.t panic pick as all the 1st rd targets were gone, and they were unprepared for the leap frogging that had occured in the prior picks.
