Re: The Official 2012 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Wait, what? We made the guys on NFL laugh? We are screwed! I bet they didn't bat an eye over thelllast 10 years of our picks...kthey probably went into how much sense each one made based on fit and needs.
Actually, they're praising the Brockers pick as I type. I'm confused now. Brockers sounds like an intelligent guy. Welcome to the Rams!

Re: The Official 2012 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I wanted Claborn also, but no one should be that disappointed we didn't draft him. Every year there are a few busts in the top 10. There are no guarantees that he'll be a star. Brockers fills a need and still could be a great player. And many 2nd rounders turn out to be great players each year. Go look at the draft results from the last few years if you're disappointed.

Re: The Official 2012 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Nice.
I'm the person saying people need to cool down and stop calling this a wasted draft when we've made *one* selection and our selection has yet to play *one* down. I don't really care what a bunch of people on the radio do or say. I'm not a draft expert, whatever that even means at this point, but I have watched a lot of football and I'm well aware that we have no idea what we have until they've started playing. I remember when people were saying JL wasn't the best MLB in his class and didn't expect a great deal out of him. Now he's one of our bright up and coming players.
I remember when Chris Long was "a sure thing" and then he was a "bust" and then I remember his season last year and his continued and obvious improvement. I remember when Kurt Warner was a random backup Quarter Back and Ryan Leaf was the next best thing since sliced bread.
How about we just calm down and wait instead of *freaking out?*

Re: The Official 2012 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Can't wait for the 3rd and 10 six yard slants and then punting because Bradford doesn't have a play maker to throw to. WR is the Rams biggest hole of many holes and we're going to end up with the same type of guys we've drafted the last 5 years. What's the point of that.

Re: The Official 2012 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
where did i ever say brockers was a bust? I said we had no need for DT and the only reason we selected one is because Fischer has this mentality of drafting DT regardless if team has other needs or not.
Tebow might actually be able to hide our horrid o line if he scrambles every play.
its worse then that because shottenhiemer is our OC. you know whaty he calls every 3rd down...Last edited by ShaneFalco; -04-26-2012 at 10:00 PM.

Re: The Official 2012 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I never said I was happy not having a WR, I'm just not ready to call this draft a "big fail" or call our season over or our QB screwed when we haven't even hit training camp yet.
