Okay I came in here knowing it would be crazy,but I never expected this. Let's just get some things out of the way.
- Yes it does stink that Jacksonville jumped us to get Blackman.
- No we probably shouldn't have traded that far back for our #6 and probably could have squeezed another pick out of it if they were our only trade partner.
- Claiborne didn't get picked because he didn't fill a hole. With all the holes we have on this team where we need a STARTER, CB is not one of them.
- I'm glad we took Brockers. If Fisher can be Haynesworth to play as good as he did, he can get the same production out of Brockers. And know what? I don't care if you have Megatron, Fitzgerald, and Green as your wide receivers. If you are in our division, they can't do jack squat for you while they ride the pine because you are playing the ***** who love to run the ball and now have Gore AND Jacobs. Face it people, this is a running division. And we had a TERRIBLE run defense, so we filled that hole.
- To everyone who says that there is no talent outside the 1st round and that any wide receiver taken after that:

And those are just the names that everyone in the league knows, not counting the guys that only people on that would really know how good they are

what? there is a reason he is defensive mvp. He SUBBED IN at de maybe 2 out of every 20 plays. They always blitzed him so it looked like he was de to you. Just stop.

When he lined up at LB Denver usually ran a 3-3-5 defense, with an extra DB playing like a SLB. It was closer to a 3-4 defense than a 4-3. So while Miller may have technically been labeled a LB more than DE, he was usually near the LOS, and used basically as a RDE.

Ive always been of the mindset that unless it is a once in a decade type player (Sapp, Ngata, Suh) you don't draft a DT in the first round. We do it all the damn time:Kennedy, picket, Lewis.... The good news is this guy is more of a 3 tech than a 1; and I think 1 techs usually take longer to develop and are so interchangable that its silly to take one high up. The bad news is he is raw; he'll probably develop into a good DT in 3-4 years the problem is by the time he is ready to be a peak caliber player he'll be outta here as a FA.

If you told me I could trade out of #2, amass 2 future 1sts, gain 2 extra second round picks, AND land Brockers, I would've told you that you were nuts.

Lotta talent available for our 3 picks in the second round. Some 1st round talent out there. Wayyyyyy too early to panic.

Dare I say that I actually LIKE what we've accomplished thus far? Yes. Yes I do.

Something tells me this is going to be the best draft class we've had in a long, long time. And that's not even counting the fact that we've got the Skins first rounders for the following two years.

We were never one guy away. But we've got a tremendous chance to get a helluva lot closer now.

You are correct about rebuilding the Rams. Heaven knows that the defense last year was at times....well, non-existent. But, like so many other Rams fans that believe Sam Bradford is the real deal IF he can get some fast WR's to throw to. Too many injuries and dropped passes last season to count. We had the #2 overall pick and although Washington paid a "Kings ramson" for it, we lost sight of our offensive need. Justin Blackmon was a close to filling that order as any player that I have seen. Getting a quality DT is not all bad news, but fans (like me) want to see some points go up on the board that are not 3 at a time.

2nd round action resumes tonight....let's hope for some "O" and a few free agents!

The Rams could've got 30 picks from the Skins and Cowboys, but if the players don't pan out it won't matter
