It sounds like the Matt Flynn race is down to Seattle and Miami, both of whom have missed out on Peyton Manning. It's possible Seattle could get Flynn under contract before he even heads to Miami.

I've been itching to generate a new mock draft now that some of the pieces are settling in free agency, but there's no point in doing it until this QB situation is more settled.

Bengals signed OG Travelle Wharton.
Wharton had also been drawing interest from the Rams. He's the tight-fisted Bengals' first signing of free agency and will likely be the team's starting left guard. Wharton graded out slightly below average in Pro Football Focus' rankings last season before his $7.6 million cap number earned him his walking papers. He could be a slight upgrade on Nate Livings.

Wow this seems very low... how will this effect Mario Manningham Negotiations?

$4 million annually, that's not bad. Hopefully Manningham is had for around the same price.

For all the talk of Eric Winston wanting to be the highest paid right tackle in the league, his contract terms are being reported as $22 million over four years. Maybe there's a structuring element that favors him that I've not seen yet.
