Eric Winston scheduled to arrive at Rams Park today

The Chiefs hosted offensive tackle Eric Winston for a free agent visit on Thursday.

NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reported last night that Kansas City was “pretty serious” about keeping Winston at club headquarters, intending to make the Chiefs his final free agent visit.

Winston is scheduled to visit Rams Park on Friday, however, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

So if the Chiefs let Winston get out of town, he might not come back.

As of an hour ago, Winston was still in Kansas City. My gut tells me he may not make that visit with the Rams.

I think the fact that STL is only a little over few hours away. He might still come by to visit. If its some other team he might just decide okay lets just finish it with KC.

NFL free agency is now in its fourth day. The St. Louis Rams pulled in a big fish early with cornerback Cortland Finnegan. So far, that is the team's only free agent addition, but that could change soon. According to one report out of New York, there is a good chance the Rams could have an agreement with Mario Manningham soon.



Manningham was still at Rams Park on Friday afternoon. He arrived there on Thursday evening.

Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News offered this heads up earlier in the day.

FWIW, Cortland Finnegan reportedly just stated in a radio interview that he thinks his former teammate, Jason Jones, will choose to join him in St. Louis.
