In 2010 as the giants #2 he had 900+ yards and 9 tds...

Also has proven he can play at a high level in the playoffs

He's at least a #2 no doubt. With potential to be a #1 if he kept his head on straight. If we got him for a decent contract I'd love it. Plus there is no one else available, other than trade. He's not a possession WR, as his weaknesses are he can be inconstant with his hands, route running, and is said to be a bit of a headcase(probably why teams aren't running to sign him). He's very explosive and would lead our team in receiving yards. Not that it would be a huge accomplishment. But we haven't shown interest so it probably wouldn't happen.

NO way Mario Manningham is a #2 ............

He is a straight line player....He has no potential to be a #1 WR, and can only be a number 2 WR as a fill in for an injured player.....

Heck, I would rather take a chance on Anthony Gonzalez than overpay for Mario Manningham that can run a route tree.


Manningham's success is largely due to the Giants throwing the ball more than 95% of teams and he was the only vertical threath they had.....on any other team his stats take a big hit...

The only one that's been connected with the Rams is Lloyd, and that was before free agency began, though obviously as fans we're likely clueless to a lot of the talks that actually go on as they're unreported.

Jacksonville have just reached agreement with former Dallas WR Laurent Robinson. On a 5 year, $32 million deal.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the Rams are having talks with free agent C Todd McClure.
The 13-year veteran could be a short-term replacement for the recently released Jason Brown. McClure has spent his entire career with the Falcons, and graded out as the league's sixth-best center by Pro Football Focus last season. He has yet to line up a known visit.
