Not our biggest need but can we pass on Sharrif Floyd still sitting there?

I was hoping we would get a 2nd round pick back after that 1st trade. Did we just flip flop with Atlanta or did we get a 2nd as well? Im hoping for Elam at 30.

We traded our #22 for Atlanta's #30, their third rounder, and 6th rounder (we also added a 7th in 2015).

They were very slow to show the change from 22 to 30. It looked like the Rams gave 22 for a late third rounder and a sixth.

I think its going to be a safety at 30. Elam or Cyprien.

Agreed, good value from a talent perspective, plus very creative trading by Les moving up with 1 pick and down with the other. Let's just hope Ogletree doesn't carpool to work with Trumaine Johnson.

Hate to lose the second round pick, but Les and Jeff feel that there's good value for us in the 3rd round, that's good enough for me.

    Go Rams!

Call me crazy but I would consider Keenan Allen with the next pick.

    TJ McDonald........bit of a surprise.

Re: The Official 2013 NFL Draft Discussion Thread

just got back from my brothers track meet...so mcdonald and bailey huh?

mcdonald: just coach him right and he'll be amazing, SC's defensive back coaches didn't seem to be doing there jobs, saw mcdonald take some horrible angles, those should be fixed, along with teaching him to just wrap rather than go for the highlight hit...encourage him to go for the ball, not the highlight hit again and he'll be great

bailey: just looked at the rams and a bit elsewhere...no idea how the WRs fell so...i guess it's an okay pick? Don't know much about him besides that he was another receiver some people really were high on

edit:robert woods to the bills...eh also, at least the rams got one trojan didn't expect TJ entirely

Re: The Official 2013 NFL Draft Discussion Thread

I dont see Khasim Greene having been picked yet (yes we have Ogletree-- but I liked Greene=)

Also we need a FS still Im assuming? McDonald cant be what the Rams have in mind for FS; so im Looking for them to target a center fielder with good range today (thomas brothers?)

As far as the Bailey pick..... well all I can say is hopefully the Rams are relyingon the synergy that the WV duo already has/had.

I know many of you are excited about Austin, however I still think we now have a team that is over loaded with slots and #2 WRs. We do not have any prototypical #1 WR with height and speed attributes, unless we are hoping that Quick makes a Quick turnaround.
