Alright, here's the deal. There are 32 teams in the NFL, and we'd like to hold our own little interactive mock draft with 32 general managers from this board as a fun way to think about the upcoming spring event.
What you'd do is sign-up in this thread for a team you wish to be the GM of. Please keep in mind that, as GM, you have responsibilities. You need to research your team's needs as well as look into the upcoming draft class and decide where you want to go in the first round. You need to look at multiple options because, like the real draft, the guy you want might not be available when you pick. We will provide some links that will help with this, but it's best if you volunteer for a team you have a working knowledge of.
Since we're all Rams fans (except for some of our visitors), obviously everyone is going to want to GM the Rams. We know them best, after all. However, the GM of the Rams will be determined by some type of contest or vote. If you're willing/able to be the GM of another franchise which hasn't been represented on this forum by a visiting fan, please do so. Otherwise, we'll have no GMs for some teams, and this experiment will ultimately fail.

As you can see, some owners have already been assigned. I've talked to SevenLowry about being the GM of the *****. He's never done a mock draft before though, so he might need some help from another assistant GM, if someone wants to volunteer. Being a resident of Miami, Avenger has elected to represent the Miami Dolphins. Since Cardinal fans are typically hard to find (heh), I decided that I could GM them, unless there's a visiting Cardinal fan you wants the job. I can't remember if we've had one or not.
Other than that, the list is open. Again, except for the Rams.
The draft will take place over a number of days later this month, so we have some time to sort everything out, but if you want in, sign up ASAP! Each GM will have a time span when their pick must be submitted. If you are unable to be present and posting during that time span, please PM a list of players in order of preference and I will announce the selection for you based on availability.
There will be NO TRADES in this draft! This policy is in effect for a number of reasons - one, they're hard to keep track of in terms of later round things, and two, often times they don't come out very realistic. So we're nipping that in the bud right now.
