Re: The Official Undrafted Free Agent Thread
From ESPN-
Thomas committed to Oklahoma State in 2004 and appeared in 11 games during his true freshman season. He finished with nine total tackles and forced one fumble that year. Oklahoma State dismissed him from the team in 2005, and he did not play football that year. Thomas transferred to NW Mississippi CC, where he started the only two games he played in during the 2006 season. He recorded a total of 16 tackles and four sacks.
I thought he was kicked off the team(Oklahoma State)

Re: The Official Undrafted Free Agent Thread
Walter Thomas is the product of his agent's magnificent PR campaign. Having done virtually nothing as a player, and yes with several clouds over his head, he managed to become an internet fan favorite. Not just among Rams fans either.

Re: The Official Undrafted Free Agent Thread
Walter Thomas has more than a few "clouds over his conduct." He was with Oklahoma St. and played some as a frosh, then apparently he flunked out of school. A school that kept Dexter Manley in good academic standing despite being unable to read. He eventually transferred to NW Mississippi CC, but played only two games after an arrest for conspiracy to commit robbery. The indictment is apparently still on file.
Not sure anybody cares, but the Jets UDFA are:
Mark Zalewski, LB, Wisconsin
Leonard Peters, S, Hawaii
Paul Thompson, QB, Oklahoma
Kyle Steffes, RB, North Dakota State
Jessie Allen, FB, Virginia Tech
Brett Ratliff, QB, Utah
Mike DeVito, DT, Maine
Matt King, DE, Maine
Andrew Wicker, OL, Ole Miss
Dominic Moran, OL, Western Michigan
Dustin Osborn, WR, Colorado State
Alvin Banks, RB, James Madison
Mike Dominguez, LS, Boise State
Charles Clark, S, Ole Miss
Caleb Hendrix, CB, Southern Miss
James Ihedigbo, S, UMass (try-out)
Kevin McCulloch LB, Cincinnati
Couple of interesting names, Peters, Thompson and Allen have decent shots with the team.
Special thanks to my friends at Jetnation, particularly SouthernJet with the Walter Thomas comments.Last edited by Dominator; -05-05-2007 at 07:34 PM.

Re: The Official Undrafted Free Agent Thread
Rams also got Jeffrey Dukes, FS from Alabama. He's a pretty good player. He has a shot to stick around due to lack of safety depth.
