A workout warrior, a TE taken in the top 10, only 1 productive season......Vernon Davis has bust written all over him.
I had to go with Davis also....however, I was torn between him and Leinart
Mediocre arm strength, lets the ball sail sometimes, had a major shoulder injury in high school and off-season surgery before his senior campaign, estimated to run a 40 around 4.8, and has benifitted from a stellar cast...if I had to guess out of that group I'm going to go with Leinart because he'll likely be the first QB taken and constantly compared to the guys the team could have chosen.
I'm not sold on Winston Justice either, but I judge busts more on whether they'll live up to expectations, and Justice won't be expected to turn a franchise around.
Too me its Haloti Ngata
Vince Young worries me. I just dont know whether he can make it as an NFL QB. He doesnt have an insanely strong arm and I question how well he will be able to digest an offensive playbook. He has a bad throwing motion and did not play in a pro style offense at Texas. I wonder if he'll be able to make the transition from shotgun to NFL.
I like Vernon Davis and a big reason is because of the work he did against Shawn Merriman during his Sophomore season. He has insane strength and has a pretty high floor.
I voted Winston Justice. He really would have benefitted from another year in college.
Vince Young , not sure his size is going to be as much of an asset as it was in college.
to me vince young reminds me of byron leftwitch, but would y`all say leftwitch is a bust??
id say he`s borderline bust (leftwitch that is!)at the moment but could fade away in coming seasons!
Leftwich hasn't lived up to his draft status, but I wouldn't consider him a bust.Quote:

Vince Young reminds me of that guy......Andre Ware. Major Bust for the Titans!
I'll go out on a limb and project Manny as a bust as well. He won't be able to get by on speed alone in the NFL and he has yet to prove any other credentials other than a knack for blocking punts. He said himself that he sure wished he had a spin move like say Freeney, but he just couldn't do it. He's not a bull rusher, either. He already put on 25 pounds before his senior year to get up to this weight, and I don't think he can put on much more without slowing down. He has limited coverage experience and isn't an impact player against the run. Playing with so much talent on that North Carolina State line made all of them look better, but I've seen claims that a lot of Lawson's plays came from chasing down players fleeing his teammates.Quote:

I truly believe Matt Leinart will NOT be that good at all. Why? I don't know, there's just something about him that I strongly feel like he won't make it in the NFL. As for Young? I think he'll be good, especially groomed properly, and maybe he'll learn a thing or two from Steve McNair if he's not traded, because Young is kind of like the same type of player, he runs here and there, and has a good arm. He can be taught to be good, he sure as hell has the talent
