I would sign Kerney, singn Adalius Thomas and draft Okoye. Witherspoon, Thomas, Little, Kerney and Okoye looks really good as a front 7.
Rams aren't the only team looking to spend. Particularly looking at Thomas. Everybody has cap room. You'll be lucky to sign one big FA, let alone 2 big ticket guys.
I don't think he's worthy of the big money.
I would prefer to see the Rams p/u Adalius (small DT's, Oh well get a big MLB), then draft Anderson(PLEASE) and then Harell. Then just let the chips fall where they may. I don't see this defense moving anywhere but forward based on these selections.
Will it make the Rams defense elite?
NO, but it will make 'em contenders.
Besides, they could win it all with a mediocre D, Indy proved that.
If we could some how sign Thomas, that would instantly improve the D, even if we don't get the NT we have been looking for. I think that with a year under his belt at the position and this being his contract year, Big Bear might just show up this season.Quote:
