What do you guys think about drafting Paul Posluszny with our first round pick?
I'm assuming that Patrick Willis would still be on the board.
I don't think Poz is a great fit at SAM linebacker, and I'm really not sure how high his ceiling is at this point. I'd rather go another direction, though honestly I don't think any team could complain about adding a tough competitor like Posluszny to their roster. There seems to be quite a range regarding his value as well which also makes him questionable at 13th overall.
He is good but he is not 13th overall good

Wanted to bring this thread back & talk about Poz, I'm really starting to like this kid & it seems his stock is rising. I would say if Anderson or Okoye are not avaliable at 13 we look at trading down & grab Posluszny. I do think with his size & speed he could play the SAM position. The 1 intangiable this kid holds is instict, you can't teach this. He has a real knack for knowing where the play will be & putting himself in position to make the play. Just think of a linebacker corp with Spoon, Tino & Poz leading the way.
Personally I disagree, though it probably should be noted though that we were talking to him at the Senior Bowl.Quote:
