Arrow Paul Posluszny LB

If we want a OLB in the draft i think this would be the guy we should get. He has over 370 tackles in his 4 year career at Penn. State good size also..What do you guys think about this one? I Really think this would be the guy to get at LB..:l

Re: Paul Posluszny LB

He is 6'2 240lbs looks like maybe one of the top 3 LBs in the draft.....I think he would be a great fit for us.

Re: Paul Posluszny LB

IMO, he's one of the best LBs in the draft. Very instinctive, hard worker, all-effort, all-team kind of player. He has some durability issues with knee problems, but an excellent choice.

Some will say he's a bit of a reach at 13, but I wouldn't have a problem with him.

Re: Paul Posluszny LB

Isn't Penn State nicknamed "Linebacker U?" They have a great history of linebackers in the NFL. If he fell to us then it would be a good pick-up IMO.

Now, where can we find a big-wide-bodied-athletic run stopping D-lineman??

Re: Paul Posluszny LB

I agree. I'd love to see us draft this guy. Even Jack Ham (anybody old enough to remember him?) thinks he's the best LB ever to play at PSU. I know Nick doesn't like him at 13 but I'd have no problem taking him if Willis or a high impact DT isn't there.

I've seen the guy play some, and he's pretty good. May make the Rams a fine pick, if he's available.

Re: Paul Posluszny LB

I'm pretty sure if we take a Linebacker its going to be a Linebacker who can play SAM linebacker.

Re: Paul Posluszny LB

I'm really not convinced that the SAM linebacker position would be the best fit for Posluszny in the pros, but I'm kind of anxious to see where he lines up during Senior Bowl practices and for the game. At 13th overall though, he's not near the top of my list of options for us.
