Perfect RE for this line.
It's about that year where I release some hidden gems, and this one isn't so hidden and yet I don't see any posts on him.
Chris Long as we all know has a natural position of Left End, which he'll probably be moved back to next year to better utilize his technique and skills.
But a player the Rams absolutely should draft in Round 2, is Adrian Clayborn. The St. Louis native is the starting Right End for the Hawkeyes, who happen to have a very good defense. He's right around 6'3", 280 pounds and has very good speed, he plays with a non stop motor and has the toughness you love in a Defensive End. He's got a motor that matches Chris Longs. I've watched every game this season, and the guy is constantly in the backfield. He has the skill too to be able to do all the stunts and the drops back in coverage which Spagnuolo likes to do with his players.
His stats are amazing so far this season:
56 tackles
16.5 TFL
8.5 Sacks
1 Pass break up
7 QB Hurries
3 Forced Fumbles
1 blocked punt ( Which he recovered for a TD
1 blocked FG

The dudes a beast, and only 21.

Sounds like a good pick, i strongly believe that if you have a strong d-line your team will improve immediately. Do you think we would take suh in the first and clayborne in the second though?

Re: Perfect RE for this line.
I don't think it's entirely impossible. Think about it. The Minnesota Vikings have probably the best defensive line in the national football league and it shows. They don't have to worry about when the defense is out, because they know that front 4 will cause sacks, qb pressures, force bad throws, and stop the run. If we have to throw large amounts of money at the line then so be it. We are going to be 35million under the cap as of right now, so why not use it?
