As with anything from ProFootballTalk, take it not with a grain of salt, but the whole shaker. Still...
WILLIAMS BACK TO RAMS?
After stints with the Panthers and Dolphins, defensive end Jay Williams could be returning to the team with which he won a Super Bowl title more than five years ago.
A league source tells us that Williams has received a contract offer from the Rams, and that Williams currently is considering the terms.
Williams also has visited the Chiefs, who are coached by the same guy who coached Williams in St. Louis.
