RAMS, BUCS BATTLE FOR BUCHANON

The Rams aren’t only chasing members of the Ravens.

Per a league source, St. Louis is in contract discussions with cornerback Philip Buchanon of the Buccaneers.

But the Bucs remain in play to retain Buchanon.

Buchanon gushed about the promotion of Raheem Morris from defensive backs coach to defensive coordinator; the fact that Morris is now the head coach should be an even bigger factor in Buchanon’s desire to stay.

The one-time first-round pick of the Raiders also has played in Houston.

Looks like this may be the alternative option if we lose Bartell to free agency. Can't say I'm ecstatic about the move but if he comes cheap then I'm all for it.
