Picking up Braylon Edwards
What do you guys think about picking up Braylon Edwards? Don't pay him too much, but cut ties (even if its during season) if anything goes wrong.
Schotty can probably give input on whether its a good idea to pick him up. If he says no then don't definitely pick him up. I am not saying pick him up as our number 1 WR but maybe to compliment another FA WR we pick up (Colston or Jackson) or maybe Blackmon?
Me, I think if he comes cheap. First year why not try to see if Braylon/Blackmon combo works out? 50/50 on the idea right now.

Time Square...... I say pass. :-)

Re: Picking up Braylon Edwards
He does know Schottenheimers playbook, and could help teach the other WRs... worth a look i'd say.

Re: Picking up Braylon Edwards
He was cut from a team with a depleted, average bunch of wide receivers.
I dont want another Mike-Sims Walker this year, he would be that guy.

Re: Picking up Braylon Edwards
Only as a last resort, and maybe not even then. We will have far better options available to us before we even think about turning to Braylon Edwards.

Re: Picking up Braylon Edwards
i say we sign him for a cheap contract cause he will be in need of a job and if we get blackmon.. we will have our possession receiver in him and our red zone threat with edwards.. our redzone offense will be scary... sj39 PA to a FADE to edwards/blackmon or a slant in the middle to blackmon/amendola!!

Re: Picking up Braylon Edwards
I still call him Edward-stonehands... pass unless we can get him for virtually no signing bonus and Schotty really wants him. He was merely gravelhands in New York, afterall.
I believe!

Re: Picking up Braylon Edwards
i say no. lets not waste money on him and go after bigger names like colston, vincent or deshaun jackson, and get blackmon.

Pass, pass pass.....What's he going to teach the young guys? How to be an idiot, crybaby and drop the ball?

Re: Picking up Braylon Edwards
I would completely be fine with that. I would actaully be a bigger fan of what AV proposed
Dwayne Bowe and Blackmon. However, as it looks more and more. It looks like lloyd would most probably go to patriots unless we offer him more money.
