Picks 3-5: The Possibilities (and my final odds for the Rams first pick)
Here are the most likely possibilties, as I see them:
Pick #3: Minnesota Vikings
Will either stay and take Kalil or Claiborne, or trade down (most likely to a team that is targeting Richardson).
Pick #4: Cleveland Browns
Will either select Richardson or Blackmon.
Pick #5: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Will stay and take Richardson, Claiborne or Kalil, or trade up to obtain Richardson, or trade down (most likely to a team that is targeting Kalil or Blackmon)
I don't think the Rams will trade up to grab a player so, in consideration of all these possibilities, who might be there, and how I think the Rams have stacked their board, here is how I handicap the Rams' first pick:
Justin Blackmon (at #6): 35%
Morris Claiborne (at #6): 25%
Matt Kalil (at #6): 10%
Trent Richardson (at #6): 5%
Michael Floyd (at #6): 5%
Trade Down/Floyd: 5%
Trade Down/Cox: 5%
Trade Down/Brockers: 5%
Trade Down/Someone Else: 5%
Re: Picks 3-5: The Possibilities (and my final odds for the Rams first pick)
Hmmm... that only gives about a 1 in 3 chance of landing Blackmon.
Oh well, we learn soon enough....
Re: Picks 3-5: The Possibilities (and my final odds for the Rams first pick)
FWIW, I think that if he is there, the Rams probably would take him. I'm just worried that he could go in the top 5.

I agree with you on this; however, I've been hearing from a number of Browns fans that the Walrus/Shurmer might just pick Blackmon themselves.
I know that Richardson is the more highly rated player but both Holmgren and Shurmer are WCO pass first kind of guys and they will in all likelihood try to build that before a dominant running game.
They sure didn't seem to make much of an effort to resign P. Hillis this past year. Again, probably more of a philosophic thing more than anything else....
This is going to be a wild ride tonight! Can't wait to see how it all plays out.
