The possible "blockbuster" trade?
i read on another message board that someone heard baltzer and strickland(since its another fan site i cant give a link) he said that the 2 hosts hinted that the rumor was about michael clayton, WR from TB.
He had a great rookie year, then fell off the map from injuries and Grudens doghouse. living in florida there are alot of bucs fans so i asked alot of them about him and they said hes been very good, but just fell into the doghouse with gruden.
Re: The possible "blockbuster" trade?
That is very true, he showed that he has rare skill(ability to succeed immediately in the league), but with the turnover they've had at the QB position and having a coach not liking him, it hasn't continued. The question is whether he was a one year wonder, or if he still has it. If I remember correctly, he is pretty quick.
Re: The possible "blockbuster" trade?
This would be a "blockbuster" trade?
Re: The possible "blockbuster" trade?
I never read any kind of trade proposal in your post Playa16, let alone a blockbuster.
Re: The possible "blockbuster" trade?
"BLOCKBUSTER"......I wouldn't say that, but it wouldn't be a bad signing if this is in the works, and if the price is right........I followed him at LSU and he was pretty good. He was the first of a good corps. of receivers to come out of LSU the last few years I think he's 6'04, 215 lbs or so, great hands and can be pretty elusive after the catch
I would trade off Klop and a 3rd for him, that seems reasonable

A player and a Day One pick for Michael Clayton? I wouldn't give more than a fifth rounder for him right now. He's been a 30-reception receiver for three years now, and there's no guarantee he turns that around in a new city. He doesn't have the production to warrant such high compensation, IMO.
Re: The possible "blockbuster" trade?
wait...you heard on another message board?
STOP THE PRESSES! IT MUST BE TRUE!
That's right, folks, Michael Clayton to St. Louis for a box of cuban cigars and a pair of wet socks!
:x
Re: The possible "blockbuster" trade?
I heard that if they throw in the pirate ship, then we'll do their laundry for a month, AND clean their rooms for three weeks.
THREE WEEKS!

From Bernie on Clayton:

Rams like him.
Wasn't the trade Jim Thomas talked about.

Re: The possible "blockbuster" trade?
when i was putting the word blockbuster in quotes, it was kinda like i was saying its not really a blockbuster trade, i was just saying it sarcastically and how this might be the trade people thought was the blockbuster

There's nothing wrong with it. Some are just a little skiddish with regards to Internet rumors.
Call it the Shepard Syndrome.
