Re: Post Combine Beastly Mock Draft
Too early for Brace IMO.
I'd Rather get a MLB in round two, then a DT in round three like fili Maola.
But the rest of the picks look good, just get keenan lewis in round 4 instead of barnes.
Or
If the feeling is that Beatty will make it to round two, draft curry and then get beatty in round two or trade back in the first to get him or another OT.
Good job:)

I also like Lewis, but I think he will go in the third round. If Lauranatis doesn't fall to second I don't see an MLB worth that spot. If he did fall, I would take him there and guy who is more of a NT instead of Moala like Chris Baker of Hampton in the 3rd.

I disagree with the selections after Smith
I'm still not sold on Brace cuz he was in the shadow of Raji and did not face many double team. Also he is more of a 3-4 NT. I would rather take a 4-3 nose tackle like Evander Hood over here. Or Clint Sintim if the Patriots dont take him.
I HATE the darry beckwith selection cuz i thought we were trying to get bigger at LB. he is only 6-1 230 or somthing like that. I would rather have a big MLB. We just got Jason Brown and that means we will be running alot. SO i say take our RB here instead of in the 6th. I would go with Javon Ringer. However if Josh Freeman QB is here its an easy pick we get our QB.
Kevin Barnes is ok but he is a reach right here. A huge reach. I think we should go OG here like Urbik cuz he is a big 6-6 332 pound run stuffer. He could be in a battle for RG or be used as depth. Or take our developmental QB here like Nate Davis or Rhett Bomar.
This is just a increbly huge reach. Parker Wilson and Harrel are much better later in the draft. However i think we should go for Courtney Greene SS or Brandon Williams DE out of Texas Tech.
I love Devin Moore cuz he is fast. But i would rather take Javon Ringer in the 3rd and Quinn Johnson here cuz he wont last till the 7th.
Here is where we could take Harrel.

You obviously haven't seen the Panthers Defense of our new DC Ken Flajole.
First of Evander is 300 pounds and is not a NT. Clint Sintim is more of a 3-4 OLB or maybe a 4-3 SLB. When Rajii was suspended the whole year Brace did a dam good Job he comands double teams and stuffs the run. If you take a look at the Panthers defensive line you can't help, but the behemoth Make Kemotou who is 345 pounds. He is also a former 3-4 NT, he is a key cog to the Panthers and he keeps blockers of the LB's. This allows the panthers to have 240 pound LBs like Jon Beason, Thomas Davis and N'al. Diggs. Brace would play a similar role and the run defense would be greatly improved.
Beckwith at 242 isn't huge but he isn't small either. He is about the same size as Jon Beason Ken Flajole's all pro MLB. If you have a huge NT who takes up blocks you can play smaller LBs. Second Beckwith doesn't play small he is a agressive and physical and comes up fills holes.
Why would the Rams waste a pick on Urbik when we have Cogs, Bell, Schuening, Grecco, Brown, and maybe Goldberg all in the interior. The interior line is the strongest and deepest part of our line. How Is Barnes a reach he is a great corner who missed alot of time because of a shoulder injury. He came back and had a strong showing at the combine, and he is also Scott Wright's 10th best corner.
Did you just say John Parker Wilson is better than Branstater. He may not even get drafted!!! He is not a good QB, he just happend to be a starter at a major program. Brandstater was best QB throwing at the combine. He may not even be there in this week QB class. He has great size at 6-5 and a good arm. He could be a verry poor man's Ben Rothlesberger. Harrell has been sinking like a rock throughout the whole process after the season. FBs don't have the value they used to and Johnson could be there. Ringer has bad knees and if the Rams were going to take a RB earlier it wouldn't be him. It would probably be a guy like Rashad Jennings or Andre Brown

Your right about Hood but He can play LE when Little leaves. Anyway Sintim can play SLB on the Rams who dont have a SLB. On the Giants spags used his OLBs to blitz and Sintim is a blitzing speacialist. However the Patriots will scoop him up. So i guess Brace is the guy (but i dont like it)

Well if you want a 240 pound MLB why dont we just put in David Vabora who is 238 pounds and is an inch taller than Beckwith. I just dont see us taking him cuz we already have Vabora.

Well Urbik is a run stuffer and we dont have a big Guard like Urbik on the team with that much bulk. the guy is HUGE think about pairing him up with Jason Brown and running Action Jackson up the middle. However if we dont get Josh Freeman in the 3rd we take a QB here. (If we dont take a QB here i think it will be Harrel at the end)

Im just not a fan of Tom Branstater. Andre Brown is definatly going to be taken at the end of round 2. I also think that Jennings might already be taken too.
