Here is a list of players that the Rams will either workout, or bring in to visit Rams Park. This list is according to PFT. I'm pretty sure teams can look at up to 30 prospects.

Re: Pre Draft Visits and Workouts
Scott Wright has us taking Worthy at the top of the 2nd in his mock from a few weeks back. personally i`d be delighted if that happened. glad he`s atleast being looked at by the Rams.

Re: Pre Draft Visits and Workouts
I think Fisher could work wonders with Worthy. He just needs to get motivated and stop taking plays off.

Re: Pre Draft Visits and Workouts
For the purposes of draft trickery, I'd be much happier if we didn't look at Blackmon at all and left it at Richardson. It's not like we'd really need to see him up close.
Better to make the Browns feel like we'd rather have Richardson than Blackmon, just in case they're still pissed off about not trading with them.I believe!

Re: Pre Draft Visits and Workouts
Updated with Quinton Coples and Michael Floyd.
The Coples visit seems kind of strange.
I also put kicker Greg Zuerlein and tackle Mitchell Schwartz because the Rams have sent scouts to view their workouts.

Re: Pre Draft Visits and Workouts
It's always interesting to see these lists, as we can now get a bead on the position's being targeted by the FO. I have little doubt the Rams will get their receiver at six. Blackmon is definitely still the favourite, but Michael Floyd is breathing down his neck bigtime.? ?
Ive actually been quite impressed with the players Fisher is bringing in. Nice list.

Re: Pre Draft Visits and Workouts
If we picked up two of the three 2nd rounders in Randle, Jenkins, and Worthy, i think everyone would be very pleased.
I know I would!

Re: Pre Draft Visits and Workouts
I believe the Coples visit is due diligence and to make the team look interested in him. Coples is a top DE talent, but is expected to drop in the draft due to off the field concerns, such as his passion for the game. Also, there was this report I saw on rotoworld which is interesting:
It's possible the Rams are looking to be interested in him in the event he slides out of round 1, so that they can trade down. Unlikely as that may be, due to the way the NFL is now days, teams are more wary of off the field concerns. One NFL personnel man described North Carolina DE Quinton Coples as "nuts" mentally, but still thinks Coples can be a star in the pros.
"He’s good as hell, but he’s nuts," the personnel man said. "I’m not sure what’s up with him. I’d put him at left end in a 4-3, but he could do everything if he wants it." Coples was highly productive throughout his college career, but observers believe his motor runs hot and cold. At 6'6/284, Coples is thought of as more of an athletic power player than explosive edge rusher.
At the same time though, it's worth remembering that Chris Long's contract is up next year, and that besides Long, Quinn and Hayes, we don't have much at the DE position.
