Re: Project Rounds 1-3 for the draft
I think you said it best GC playing opposite of Moses. In 05 Moses had 11.5 sacks compared to Johnson 4 sacks. Going into a game I would pay more attention to Moses. Moses did have a poor season, but he has the skills to make plays. I still think we want to play a ¾ at some point and here is a guy that can play on the line and or drop in as an OLB spot. The guy is an athlete plays football and basketball at a high level. I could see him in his rookie year coming in on third down and making some plays opposite of Little. Playing ST and maybe a little OLB if Haslett ever wants to make the change. If he shows up big at the combine, they will all be talking about his Junior year and if he plays like that.
I have plenty of time to get off him, maybe if he has a poor showing at the combine, but right now he my guy.

Re: Project Rounds 1-3 for the draft
I don't know much about this David Harris from Michigan but I am intrigued by his size. Is he a big time playmaker and tackling machine? I was disappointed when we didn't take Demeco Ryans last time. Hopefully we will do the right thing and complete our LB core. In FA we could probably pick up a solid DT and Draft a DT and a DE in the draft. We will just have to see.

Here's David Harris' scouting report from nfldraftcountdown.com
http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sco...vidharris.html
It says he excels against the run and a very good tackler, but not that good in coverage. they rank him the 4th best MLB in the draft after P.Willis, B. Davis, and H.B. BladesLast edited by RamsFan4ever; -01-05-2007 at 05:44 PM.

Re: Project Rounds 1-3 for the draft
Harris does a great job wracking up the tackles, but how much of that comes from having a Top 5-10 NT in front of him taking on blocks? He really doesn't strike me as much of a playmaker either - while he has a number of tackles for loss, he only has one career interception and two career forced fumbles which both came in 2005. He also has some durability issues to think about.

I think it's a great idea to take H. B. Blades, holy cool name.
