Question about CARRIKER

I've read some ARTICLES that say that carriker has gotten up to 308, but when i look up his player page like on espn and nfl.com for example it still says that he is 292. Is that because they are slow to post it or is it that he hasnt really gotten to 308? i hope hes at 308. that would be nice if you ask me.

Most likely that number came from his combine weight, which I believe was in the mid 290's. I believe he has given interviews saying he is about 10 pounds heavier than at the combine (ie. 305 or so), and he plans to gain another 10-20 pounds before camp.

Thanx. thats what i thought. That would would be AWESOME if he got to 325-330. hed be huge.

I suspect he'll play at around 310-315. With his 6'6 frame, that's a good size.

I can't find the specific number, but I do know that no DL measured less than 10% body fat at the combine. However, every report has declared Carriker's fanatical discipline when it comes to keeping himself in shape, and the coaches' being pleased with his condition. Therefore, we have to assume he is pretty much a 300-lb brickhouse, and can only assume the majority of that extra 20 pounds or so will be the same.

Player pages on web sites such as ESPN.com, NFL.com, and even the Rams' official site are strictly numbers reported at one point in time. Player weight fluctuates all the time, I would imagine, so I wouldn't take those roster numbers as being entirely accurate at this point.
