He's generally viewed as a second rounder right now, though he could work back into the first with a strong combine.

Living in atlanta and attending almost every georgia tech game for the last couple of years, i tend to agree with Maycock's analysis of michael johnston, which is to say that he has all the talent in the world, great size, and yet doesnt seem to make the effort play in and play out. He shows flashes of greatness, and then long periods of mediocrity.

In the virginia game this year, Monroe absolutely killed him. He had one sack on a stunt but for the rest of the game, when they were matched head to head, it was no contest at all. Great physical tools at the combine could certainly propel him up the board, but i am highly suspect because goes that dont make 100% effort dont tend to do very well in the nfl, regardless of their talent.
