Quick 7 Round Rams Mock
1. Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
2. Damaryius Thomas, WR, Georgia Tech
3. Dexter McCluster, RB, Ole Miss
4. Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, DE, Washington
5A. Garrett Graham, TE, Wisconsin
5B. AJ Edds, LB, Iowa
6. Nolan Carroll, CB, Maryland
7A. Chris DeGeare, OG, Wake Forest
7B. Crezdon Butler, CB, Clemson
7C. Ko Quaye, DT, South Dakota
Rams need people to score TDs. I think Thomas has the most upside of any WR in this draft. Dexter McCluster could be the change of pace 3rd down back we need. I like his 20 bench pres reps, which shows he could be strong enough to pass block. Also his experience at WR means he could be a receiving threat out of the backfield too.
What do you guys think?Last edited by Draftniksince1985; -04-18-2010 at 06:56 PM.

Re: Quick 7 Round Rams Mock
Or perhaps a lineman earlier than the 7th round, hard to decide where though, so many holes. I like it for the most part, but a little worried about focusing too much on offense that early, 4 of the top 5 picks on offense is a lot.

Re: Quick 7 Round Rams Mock
Only thing I like on hear is Bradford and AJ. I can't say using the 33rd pick on a slower receiver that can't run good routes and coming off of a broken foot. I'd MUCH rather get Damian Williams who i think would be a great plan B to a Gresham. He's the Torry Holt of the new age Rams. Crisp routes and softhands who getz the YAC. I'm hoping he falls off the map for other teams because I know he is on the Rams'.

i`d prefer Damion Williams than Thomas too..arguably the best route runner in the entire draft.
though i`d go Gresham over anyone else if he falls to the 33rd pick.

Re: Quick 7 Round Rams Mock
never really liked Thomas... I would go TE there, I really don't think we need a WR at all in this draft, if we need one get one in FA, we have a decent group of recievers right now.

Re: Quick 7 Round Rams Mock
If Gresham isn't there I like Thomas. He's been reported as being a super hard worker who's very dedicated to his position and the game in general. Plus is numbers coming out of a triple option running offense are hard to not love.
That being said if Gresham isn't there at the top of 2, I'd hope we can just trade down.

Re: Quick 7 Round Rams Mock
So if SJ went down, we'd have 5'8", 165 lb McCluster to step in with Darby and Ob. hmmm
