Quick game of which would you rather. Rams draft style.

This is a non-changeable scenario. You can pick either scenario and explain why. Please nothing saying "Id rather have this." In this Rams world, these are the only two options, and they would be two options I'd be ecstatic over either. Votes are PUBLIC by the way.

    Option A:
Rams Sign Marques Colston in FA, Draft Morris Claiborne Round 1

    Option B:
Rams Sign Cortland Finnegan in FA, Draft Justin Blackmon Round 1

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Personally I am going to need to sleep on which scenario I would rather have but I wanted to get this posted and see some of your thoughts. Obviously each has its pros and cons.

No, you're right. I can't tell you that a proven, pro bowl commodity in Colston is 'All That' compared to the entirely unproven Blackmon. [/realitycheck]

Colston/Claiborne all day. Blackmon isn't a top 5 talent, but once again we're drafting need over talent. Claiborne has the potential to be a Revis, while Blackmon may only be an Anquan Boldin. Not to mention like Bar-bq said, Colston is a proven pro bowl commodity, while Blackmon hasn't touched the field.

Blackmon/Finnegan is nice too, but I see a lot more potential from Claiborne over Blackmon.

    I'll say, yes.

Ill go with Blackmon/Finnegan simply because i think Blackmons ceiling is much higher than Colston.I like Colston but we pretty much know what he is and will be through his prime years.I think blackmon has the potential to be a top Wr in this league and better than colston in every way.Claiborn looks nice but again finnegans body of work makes it hard to turn down compared to an unproven CB.And going from college CB to NFL CB is a huge adejustment and lots of times players just arent good enough or take to long to develop.Just my opinion not saying its the right way to go only the way i would if i was ahead of the controls.

Think you accidentally voted Option B, haha. Based on Jeff Fishers draft past, I see Option A as more likely.

I think you could flip a coin. I didn't like turning down Blackmon, but he needs to show me something in his pro day. I have a feeling the Rams are going to pick Claiborne, if they get the opportunity.? Colston is a proven quantity, so it gives the edge to this duo in my opinion.?

No you're right. Brandon Lloyd a Pro Bowl WR and proven talent aka proven commodity is our future right? Your arguement is bunk due to Colston plays with a HOF QB at the top of his game with a pre-dominate passing game. I'll pass and take someone with more game changing and a high ceiling that will come with a smaller price tag for years to come who is trying to make his mark in the league.

Claiborne and Colston. I really like Claiborne and I think he is a much better prospect than Blackmon. There is much more value there. As for Colston, if we can resign Lloyd as well, I think they will be a good veteran duo and we can take a shot at a WR next year. Also even Lloyd walks, we will have the option of taking a guy with raw talent like Stephen Hill.

Two nice options, but I'd take A. Colston is absolute money and I love his game, Claiborne can be an impact player right out of the gate and for years to come.

Sam can move the ball down the field. It's when we get in the red zone that we fall apart. Colston, who thrives in the endzone, solves that issue much better than the sub-6'1" Blackmon. Claiborne also looks to be a better coverage corner than Finnegan, which is what we need for Williams' defense to work.

So yeah, not even a decision here. Give me the double C's.
    I believe!
