Rams 2008 Draft Surprise?

So it seems the Rams have a trend lately of making surprise picks that equally shock the draft experts and fans. Last year it was Leonard in the 2nd, 2006 it was TE's in consecutive rounds, and drafting Crouch as a WR in 2002 are a few that come to mind.

So what do you think might be the big surprise this year?

Darren McFadden? lol

I don't know, it's one of the few things I enjoy about the draft. How far can we "Stretch Armstrong" a pick.

Re: Rams 2008 Draft Surprise?

A good all around QB. That would surprise most , but it is what we need most! Sorry guys Bulger like Pace is beat up and coming to an end. We will get everything in place to have a great team , Except one key part...... A QB.

Re: Rams 2008 Draft Surprise?

The irony of reaching a consensus on a surprise pick aside......

I'm going with back to back WR's in the 2nd and 3rd. Jake Long is picked up in the 1st. The next two are Devin Thomas and Will Franklin. Every pick after that is Defense.
